Steven R. Cook (M. Div.)

Lewis S. Chafer is known for his many books as well as the founding of Dallas Theological Seminary. However, it was his audio lectures on the spiritual life that opened to me a personal side of him that simply is not found in his writings. Lewis Chafer was very kind in his dealings with people, and his personal stories reveal a grace and compassion that is often lacking from those who praise him most. Chester McCalley was the Pastor of Beth Haven Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Chester McCalley was very precise in his handling of the Scriptures, and his teaching style was consistently clear and his messages practical. McCalley is one of the finest Bible teachers I've encountered, and I'm thankful for his audio lectures which have been a great blessing to me.

Francis Schaeffer wrote many books that helped me to understand history, art and culture from a biblical perspective. Francis Schaeffer was a true scholar, but also demonstrated a warmth and compassion that made others feel welcome. He manifested truth with love.

Charles Clough challenged me to reach new heights in my understanding of Scripture. He helped me piece together doctrines that were formerly disconnected in my thinking. His Biblical Framework series was a blessing to work through and changed my perspective on many things.
